My 2 week old nephew was just diagnosed with the same thing. 90% of kids diagnosed with Type 1 SMA, as he has, will pass away before they reach 2 years old.

Keep trying to do this through facebook but it says connection issue detected. Has anyone else had this problem? Thank you for bringing awareness to this issue and so sorry for this terrible loss in your family.
